​What is Tether & Tease?
Tether & Tease is a discreet adult play studio located in a tranquil suburb near Cape Town.
As Cape Town's exclusive play-space, BDSM & Kink Dungeon, Tether & Tease offers a unique opportunity to indulge in play and accommodation within its approximately 600 sqm premises.
Our studio features various themed rooms and recreational zones, housed in a recently constructed two-story building, discreetly hidden in a quiet area. The premises can be booked separately or jointly, allowing flexibility to cater to our clients' preferences. 
Tether & Tease is a kinky Guest House run by connoisseurs of the Scene.

How do I book?
​Booking can be done through our booking portal.  You can find pricing, terms and conditions, and other useful information on our website.

 
Why do I have to provide personal data?
​To ensure compliance with age restrictions and legal obligations, all guests must provide a valid identification document at check-in. This information is used to verify your identity, and a copy is retained only for legal purposes. Your privacy is respected, and any credit card charges will not reference Tether & Tease.
 
How can I contact Tether & Tease during my stay?
Upon booking, you will receive a cell phone number for the Tether & Tease host, who can be reached via WhatsApp for any questions or urgent requests during your stay. Additionally, our premises are equipped with an alarm system.

Will I have exclusive access to the booked space?
Yes, depending on your booking, you will have exclusive access to either the entire studio or one of its halves.
 
How do I check in?
​For those who are first-time visitors a tour through the studio is recommended.
Returning guests can have access for gate and entrance doors without introduction by the host and will receive an electronic code for a smooth and intimate access.
 
Do I need to disclose the number of people in my booking?
Pricing is calculated based on two people per unit. For additional guests, a surcharge applies to cover expenses such as cleaning, towels, bedding, etc. Please ensure that all additional guests are registered with Tether & Tease in advance of your check-in.

Are there spaces to meet other couples?
No, Tether & Tease is solely a venue and does not function as an establishment, swinger club, or brothel.

What is included, and what are your rental rates?
The amenities and rental rates vary based on your booking choice. For detailed information, including check-in times please refer to the booking section on our website.
 
Can I visit the space before booking?
Unfortunately, in-person tours are not available, but we can provide a virtual tour upon request.

Who can visit Tether & Tease?
Tether & Tease is exclusively intended for adult individuals due to the nature of its ambiance. Access to the studio is restricted to individuals of legal adult age (21 years and above), and minors are strictly prohibited from entering the premises. Pets are also not permitted.
 
How many people can stay, and are parties allowed?
The Fortress has a huge play area for up to 4 people and can accommodate 2 people over night, while
the Citadel – our more conventional house has two bedrooms and different playrooms throughout the unit. We do not host events or loud parties, as the location is in a quiet suburb. Small parties, limited to four people per unit, may be allowed. Please refer to the house rules and ensure discretion by keeping doors and windows closed during play.
 
I am new to BDSM & kink. Can Tether & Tease provide education?
Tether & Tease is not a brothel or BDSM establishment and does not offer consultation on BDSM practises. If you require professional advice or guidance, please contact us as we could provide you with a BDSM consultant.
 
How safe is the play studio?
The safety of our play studio is of utmost importance to us. We maintain a rigorous inspection process to ensure that our equipment is in optimal condition, promptly replacing or repairing anything that requires attention. We greatly appreciate your feedback and encourage you to inform us immediately if you notice any issues or breakages.
Tether & Tease has implemented essential measures such as well-maintained equipment and a first aid kit. Effective communication during scenes is encouraged through the use of safe words or signals, and responsible play practices like aftercare should be observed. Please note that we assume guests engaging in play are experienced and do not require First Aid Kits.

What about discretion?
Discretion is highly valued at our studio. Guests are expected to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the activities, identities, and personal information of others. This includes both inside and outside the premises, as we aim to uphold the privacy of all individuals involved. Please wear your usual everyday clothing when outside or on the way to our location, as T&T is situated in a residential area. What transpires inside the studio is entirely your own and should remain confidential.

What about Hygiene?
Hygiene is of utmost importance to us, and we maintain strict cleaning protocols to ensure a spotless and hygienically immaculate environment. All inventory and equipment are regularly cleaned and disinfected, using hospital-grade cleaning products. We provide spray bottles with disinfectant and sanitary wipes for your convenience. Each bathroom is equipped with towels, shower gel and shampoo. We kindly request that you treat the furniture and play equipment with care and follow our cleaning guidelines. If excessive cleaning is required, additional cleaning fees will be implemented.
 
What must I bring?
When visiting, please bring your own clothing, favourite toys, and music. Towels will be provided for your use. T&T also features a kitchenette in both apartments, complete with a fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and glasses, among other amenities. Do you offer breakfast?
While we don't offer a breakfast service, we can fill the fridge with your requirements in advance upon request. The kitchenette includes a coffee maker, milk, tea, kettle and a microwave. Additionally, small snacks are available.
 
Where can we go after our stay?
If you're looking for shopping and dining options, Canal Walk – Century City, one of South Africa's largest shopping malls, is conveniently located near T&T. You'll find numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and clothing shops in the area. For specific addresses and directions, you can find a map with the closest locations on the bar counter.

Am I allowed to smoke?
Smoking is strictly limited to designated areas, specifically the bar area. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is expressly prohibited within the bedroom areas.

What about alcohol and drugs?
We prioritize sober BDSM play for the safety of all guests. Intoxication can impair judgment, limit awareness of your body's limits, and hinder decision-making in the event of an accident or emergency. While guests are allowed to consume alcohol responsibly, we ask that you refrain from bringing glassware into the playrooms and only engage in play when sober.

Am I allowed to wear fetish gear or am I allowed to play in the garden?
T&T is located in a quiet suburb, and out of respect for privacy and discretion, the outside areas are strictly non-play areas as stated in our house rules.
 
Are Photographs allowed?
Photographs are allowed for private use unless specifically booked as a photo/film location.
 
What are my responsibilities?
As a guest, it is your responsibility to treat our play studio with utmost reverence and care. We kindly request that you appreciate the tremendous effort and love invested in creating this space, aiming to provide you with an unforgettable experience and the desire to return as a regular. The house rules provided to you upon booking are an integral part of our contract and, unfortunately, not subject to negotiation.
 
How should I handle potential damages?
In the event of any damages, we kindly ask that you promptly report them during check-in, so we can quickly arrange for repairs or replacements. If the damage occurred accidentally, we value honesty and open communication. We understand that accidents can happen, and we are always willing to discuss any issues that arise. However, please be aware that you will be held fully liable for any malicious damage. We reserve the right to charge for damages that are not reported or intentionally concealed. Our thorough pre-check-in inspections, primarily conducted for safety purposes, allow us to promptly identify any defective items and attribute them to the respective tenant. Our studio features high-quality, upscale interior and inventory, and we kindly request that you treat them with care and appreciate the love and effort invested in their furnishing.
 
What about legal matters?
Our aim is to provide our guests at T&T with a clear and transparent understanding of our policies, which are outlined in our terms and conditions. These policies ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all. By making a reservation and renting our accommodations, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. We strongly advise reading them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
